I lived in Hong Kong for ten years and taught Japanese at a language school there for three of those years. Since returning to Japan, I have taught Japanese for another eight years.
I want to help students overcome language barriers and connect with people around the world. I’m always excited to meet new learners.

My goal is to make classes clear, enjoyable, and memorable so you can truly feel, “I can do it!”

I am passionate about languages and have studied in Canada and Spain. I have taught at Japanese language schools in Chiba, Osaka, and Kyoto. Later, I worked as a Japanese language instructor at a company, and since 2013 I have been teaching online at Japonin(JOI). I teach Survival Japanese, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Business levels. In addition, I offer many private lessons and provide flexible lessons to meet your learning needs.

I am from Narita, a city known for its international connections, and have enjoyed interacting with people from various countries since childhood. I also gained experience in customer service at Narita Airport as a ground staff member, which allows me to help you with honorifics and business etiquette. I look forward to meeting you in class.

Since graduating from university, I have taught foreign students at Japanese language schools, covering levels from beginner to advanced and also helping design course schedules. At Japonin(JOI), I mainly teach beginner to lower-intermediate classes but also offer kanji, vocabulary, and JLPT preparation lessons. Private lessons are available on request.

I’m interested in Japanese history and World Heritage Sites and enjoy researching and visiting them whenever I can. In my classes, I often introduce Japanese sightseeing spots, history, and culture. I also enjoy calligraphy and kanji study, so if you’d like to start learning kanji, join me in the N4 Kanji class!

I have taught Japanese to children and adults from many different countries, always tailoring the lessons to their individual needs. Drawing on my corporate work experience, I have also provided instruction to business professionals. Since 2014, I have been working as an online Japanese language instructor at Japonin(JOI) and have had the wonderful opportunity to meet so many people. I look forward to meeting more learners who are interested in the Japanese language and culture.

 I began teaching Japanese in 2001, working with international students at Japanese language schools and universities. Since 2012, I have been teaching online at Japonin(JOI), offering Survival Japanese, Beginner 2, and N2 Kanji classes. I focus on helping learners improve their speaking skills and integrate the OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) approach into my teaching.

 I started my career as a Japanese language teacher at a language school in Saipan, where I taught students of all ages, from young children to high schoolers and adults.
After that, I spent three years in the Philippines teaching Japanese to technical intern trainees preparing to go to Japan.
After returning to Japan, I have been teaching Japanese online at Japonin(JOI) since 2012, specializing in beginner-level instruction for many years.

I teach at Japonin(JOI) as well as at Japanese language schools authorized by the Ministry of Justice, working with learners from beginner to advanced levels.

I began teaching Japanese to technical intern trainees and internship students, and I have been an online Japanese instructor at Japonin(JOI) since 2019.

My main focus is Business Japanese and JLPT grammar (N1, N2, N3, N4). I also offer short-term private lessons to boost business Japanese skills before starting a new job, taking an overseas assignment, or changing roles, scheduled at your convenience.

I worked for a major machinery manufacturer for about 40 years, rotating through production, trade, R&D, sales, general affairs, accounting, and auditing. Drawing on this experience, I can provide practical support for a wide range of business situations in Japanese.

 Although my Japanese teaching experience has been solely at Japonin(JOI), I have worked with many students over the years.
In 2012, I launched a dedicated listening practice class (now called LRC) to help learners who struggle with listening comprehension due to limited exposure to natural, spoken Japanese. The class has been very well received by many students.

After studying abroad in Beijing, I decided to become a Japanese teacher and have since enjoyed spending time with many students in engaging Japanese lessons.
Currently, I teach intermediate and higher levels. My goal is to help students expand their vocabulary and improve their sentence structure to express themselves in Japanese more widely and naturally, which in turn refines their conversational skills.

I aim to guide intermediate learners toward the advanced level and help advanced students move beyond it. I warmly welcome those who enjoy learning Japanese in a fun yet thorough way. Let’s enjoy learning together!

I previously worked for an airline, which allowed me to visit many countries and gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty of my own culture. This inspired me to engage in intercultural exchange activities.

While teaching at an overseas university, I organized a Japanese reading event where not only Japanese majors but also anime and manga enthusiasts, as well as people simply drawn to the beauty of the Japanese language, came to participate.

Through these experiences, I believe I can support learners who are interested in Japanese language and culture, or those who wish to work in customer service in Japan.
