高速道路（こうそくどうろ）

今（いま）日本（にほん）の高速道路（こうそくどうろ）のサービスエリアは、休憩所（きゅうけいじょ）ではなく一（ひと）つの目的地（もくてきち）になっています。 旅行（りょこう）に行（い）くときは、サービスエリアによって、遊（あそ）んだり、食（た）べたりするのが楽（たの）しみという人（ひと）も少（すく）なくありません。

私（わたし）の町（まち）にも刈谷（かりや）ハイウェイオアシスというパーキングエリアがあります。 公園（こうえん）や温泉（おんせん）があったり、観覧車（かんらんしゃ）や子（こ）どもたちが水遊（みずあそ）びできる噴水（ふんすい）もあります。またお店（みせ）には地元（じもと）の野菜（やさい）が売（う）られており、他（ほか）にもおいしいお店（みせ）やレストランが入（はい）っています。 高速道路（こうそくどうろ）を使（つか）う人（ひと）だけでなく、パーキングエリアの近（ちか）くに住（す）んでいる人（ひと）も買（か）いものに来（き）ます。

そしてこちらで有名（ゆうめい）なのが、デラックストイレ。 ソファーセットがあり、くつろげるようになっています。一説（いっせつ）によると、1億円（おくえん）以上（いじょう）かかったとか。

日本（にほん）各地（かくち）には　いろいろな面白（おもしろ）いサービスエリアがあります。 ぜひ日本（にほん）に来（き）たときには、一度（いちど）行（い）ってみてください。

Now in Japan, the highway service areas have become not only rest areas but destinations in themselves. There are a lot of people who look forward to dropping into a service area to hang out and eat something there while travelling somewhere.

In my town, there is a highway service area known as Kariya Highway Oasis. They have an onsen, a park a Ferris Wheel and a fountain where kids can play with the water. And local vegetables are on sale in the shops there are also many other shops and delicious restaurants. Not only people using the highway but also people who live nearby go there for shopping.

And one of the famous things to be found there is the deluxe toilet. It has a sofa set where you can stretch out and relax. According to some stories, it cost over 100 million yen.

There are many interesting service areas in various places in Japan. When you get a chance to come to Japan, please visit one once.
