Meet Your Teacher

I have taught Japanese to children and adults from many different countries, always tailoring the lessons to their individual needs. Drawing on my corporate work experience, I have also provided instruction to business professionals. Since 2014, I have been working as an online Japanese language instructor at Japonin(JOI) and have had the wonderful opportunity to meet so many people. I look forward to meeting more learners who are interested in the Japanese language and culture.

FlexLessons – 50-minute Zoom classes (up to 7 students)

 Beginner 1 CEFR A1

You will practice daily conversation using the grammar point chosen for that day. We start with simple conversations, so please feel free to join. The goal is not only to memorize vocabulary and grammar, but also to be able to express yourself naturally in Japanese, even with just a few specific phrases.

 Beginner 2 CEFR A2

In the same way as in Beginner 1, we start by using the focused grammar point in practical conversations. It is important to understand the situations where each phrase can be used. Try to picture the situations in your mind, and let’s practice the conversations together.

 Advanced CEFR C1 CEFR C2

This advanced class is designed so that learners who want to move up from the beginner levels can join with confidence. We read accessible texts such as blog posts written by Japonin(JOI) teachers and then discuss the themes in Japanese, sharing our own ideas and exchanging opinions with classmates. Even if you want to take the next step but still feel a little unsure, you will be well supported, so please give it a try.
