● Passed the Practical English Proficiency Test (EIKEN) Level 2
● Passed the Japan Kanji Proficiency Test Grade 2
● Passed the World Heritage Certificate Level 2
● Teaching experience at Japanese language schools in Gunma, Nagano, and Chiba
Meet Your Teacher
Since graduating from university, I have taught foreign students at Japanese language schools, covering levels from beginner to advanced and also helping design course schedules. At Japonin(JOI), I mainly teach beginner to lower-intermediate classes but also offer kanji, vocabulary, and JLPT preparation lessons. Private lessons are available on request.
I’m interested in Japanese history and World Heritage Sites and enjoy researching and visiting them whenever I can. In my classes, I often introduce Japanese sightseeing spots, history, and culture. I also enjoy calligraphy and kanji study, so if you’d like to start learning kanji, join me in the N4 Kanji class!

FlexLessons – 50-minute Zoom classes (up to 7 students)
▸Beginner 1CEFR A1
In this class, we practice everyday situations so you can pick up useful phrases right away. Even if you don’t know much Japanese yet, you can use the chat to quickly check vocabulary and expressions. Romaji support is also available, so you can feel comfortable joining even if you’re not confident speaking.
▸Beginner 2CEFR A2
We practice natural conversation flow so you can enjoy longer, smoother talks with others. If you want to expand your vocabulary and learn more useful expressions, this class is for you.
▸JLPT N4 KanjiCEFR A2
This class is recommended for learners who can read some kanji but haven’t practiced writing much and want to study JLPT N4 kanji and vocabulary. We’ll check stroke order with animations and practice writing on paper. You’ll also learn words that use each kanji to build your vocabulary.
▸ Low Intermediate Grammar (JLPT N3)
This class is recommended if you want to move from beginner to intermediate level, or if you can handle everyday conversation but aren’t confident with formal expressions. We’ll review grammar first, then practice with example sentences and conversations. You’ll also have chances to write and share your opinions in Japanese using what you already know. There’s plenty of speaking and writing practice!
