What kinds of
activities do you include in your
online Japanese classes?
Intermediate
FlexLevel
For
learners that have progressed up to
the Intermediate level, your
vocabulary and grammar have improved
significantly compared to when you
started out learning Japanese. But
despite the fact that you have
learned this much it doesn't mean
much if you cannot use the learning
you've gained in the correct
situations. We learn the topic of
the day and use the grammar point
that we are focussing on to practice
which situation we use it in, which
words and phrases it goes well with
and learn more about its usage in a
natural way. We study how to use
expressions in different ways
depending on the person you are
talking with – whether its a friend,
or co-worker or a business setting
or formal one. I aim to expand your
ability to express yourself.
Intermediate
Grammar
(incl. JLPT N2)
In
this class style, we study one or
two grammatical structures. We learn
how to use it, connect it into
sentence forms using example
sentences so that even those of you
who have never heard or used the
phrase can be able to understand it.
On top of all this, we also make
some compositions in class and do
some exercises from the JLPT N2 test
to deepen your understanding of the
grammar. I also often include some
quizzes and dicatation and short
reading comprehension practice. For
those of you that are planning to
take the JLPT N2 and for those of
you that are not planning to take
it, I take care to make sure that
the lessons are both informative and
effective – so go ahead and join my
class !
Introductory
Using
illustrations
and photographs, I try to make sure
that you spend the 50 minute lessons
using and speaking Japanese as much
as possible. Even if you do not read
hiragana or katakana, no worries, we
show the romaji reading and English
translations in all the material we
use in the class. For absolute
beginners, Japanese pronounciation
can feel a difficult but by
practising together you will be able
to sound out the sounds smoothly.
The most important thing in
Introductory classes is to relax and
enjoy yourself. Lets enjoy learning
Japanese !
Please share your
thoughts on teaching and learning
Japanese.
In all of the
different languages that are out
there, the fact that you have an
interest in learning Japanese,
is to me, as a Japanese person,
something that makes me very
happy. Allow me to help you find
how to enjoy learning Japanese
more and what all the good of
the learning the Japanese
language. I'll be waiting for
you in the class !
