Meet Your Teacher
I started my career as a Japanese language teacher at a language school in Saipan, where I taught students of all ages, from young children to high schoolers and adults.
After that, I spent three years in the Philippines teaching Japanese to technical intern trainees preparing to go to Japan..
After returning to Japan, I have been teaching Japanese online at Japonin(JOI) since 2012, specializing in beginner-level instruction for many years.

FlexLessons – 50-minute Zoom classes (up to 7 students)
▸Beginner 2CEFR A2
Lessons cover one or two sentence patterns at a time and include basic drills, conversation practice, and opportunities to create your own sentences.
I aim to make the lessons enjoyable and help you use the patterns naturally and with confidence.
▸Beginner 2 Grammar (JLPT N4)
First, I explain the key points of the sentence pattern we’ll study that day. Then we practice conjugating the verbs and adjectives used with it and apply them in context. At the end of class, you’ll work on practice exercises to review the key points. These also help you prepare for the JLPT.
