いつやるか?今でしょ!

now

English Translation for Understanding

When are you going to do it ? Now !

All people who live in Japan and all of the people who watch Japanese TV have probably heard the above lines before. These lines were used in a cram school TV commercial and were said by one of the teachers to students studying to take their entrance exams, and for a while became a fad.

I remind myself of these lines everyday in my mind. "When are you going to get started on your diet ? Now !" "When are you going to get around to trimming the plants ? Now !" "When are you going to sort out your photographs ? Now !"etc,etc...

And then the result of it is, "When are you going to do it ? Later !" and in this way most things get postponed. There are so many things that I want to do, but there are too many things that I say "Now !" to, so I always run out of time.

And although it probably sounds funny for someone like me to say this, but finally I'd like leave all of you with one word, as a member of the Japonin(JOI) teaching staff.... "When are you going to start studying Japanese ? Now !"

Japanese Language Teacher

After studying abroad in Beijing, I decided to become a Japanese teacher and have since enjoyed spending time with many students in engaging Japanese lessons.
Currently, I teach intermediate and higher levels. My goal is to help students expand their vocabulary and improve their sentence structure to express themselves in Japanese more widely and naturally, which in turn refines their conversational skills.

I aim to guide intermediate learners toward the advanced level and help advanced students move beyond it. I warmly welcome those who enjoy learning Japanese in a fun yet thorough way. Let’s enjoy learning together!
