Difficult Japanese Kanji : Rope Kanji

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

The Japanese language has 3 writing methods.
Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji.

Kanji comes from the Chinese writing method.
Originally, hiragana was used by ladies, and kana and Kanji used by men in Japan - but by the 10th century, it was universally used.

Some Kanji are really easy to write, and others are incredibly difficult even for native speakers.
There are a number of quizzes on TV and even national tests that deal with various levels of Kanji understanding even for Japanese people.

And that reminds me...
One of our veteran teachers, Momii sensei wrote a blog about some tricky Kanji.
It would be a great time to look back at this blog (see link below).
