私がまだ子どものとき、一晩で１ｍ以上雪が積もったことがありました。その日は学校が休みになりました。
大きい地震もありました。余震が何度もあって恐かった記憶があります。
高校生のときは大雨で道が冠水し、ずぶ濡れになって帰宅したことがあります。このときは雷も鳴っていて恐かったです。
最近日本では各地で異常気象が起きています。
何か起きる前に、どうしたらいいのか考えておいた方がよさそうです。

When I was a child, one night we had over 1 meter of snowfall piled up. On that day, the schools took the day off.
There was also a large earthquake once. There were so many aftershocks that I remember being really frightened.
When I was a high school student, we had some torrential rain and the roads got flooded, so I came home dripping wet. There was thunder at that time too, so it was really scary.
There has been a spate of abnormal weather in many areas in Japan recently.
Its a good thing to think of what one should do in the event of a disaster before anything happens.

私の会社のすぐ近くにコンビニがあります。 私はそのコンビニによく行っています。お茶やコーヒー、おにぎりを買うだけでなく、お金を下ろしたり、写真を印刷したり、荷物を送ったり・・・色々なことで利用しています。コンビニが近くにあるととても便利です。
また、コンビニのスイーツも気になります。最近は、抹茶のシュークリームにはまっています。スイーツも新しい商品が出るとお店に並びますので、そのチェックも欠かせません。

There is a convenience store right near my company.I often go to this convenience store.I don't only go there to buy coffee or tea or rice balls, but I also withdraw money from the bank, print out photographs, send packages and parcels... I use it various ways. Its really useful to have a convenience store near me.
I also really like the sweets sold at convenience stores. Recently, I am really into green tea cream puffs. When there are new sweets on sale, they lay these out in the store, so its vital to check them out !
