My name is Hidaka Mitsuko,
and I live in Miyazaki in Kyushu,
Japan. Miyazaki is known as a place
where typhoons often strike, but it is
also a very warm place with delicious
food. The town's streets are lined
with many Phoenix trees (a southern
species). The sea is beautiful, and
surfers gather here in the summer.
Some people settle down in Miyazaki
for the surfing. Unfortunately
however, I cannot swim....
From learning Japanese, my hope is
that everyone can come to love Japan.
I'm sure you'll feel nervous at first,
but rest assured I will be even more
nervous so please relax. I would like
to help you enjoy studying Japanese
online, by matching everyone's pace
and goals.
