I'm a native of Tokyo, but now live in Fukuoka with my husband, son, and daughter.
As a chat moderator, I'll enjoy being able to help everyone with their Japanese practice.
Have you heard of the phrase "once-in-a-lifetime experience (一期一会)?"
In Japan we often liken this to another popular Japanese expression:
"Every encounter with every person is precious,"
which is one of my favorite sayings. Do you have a particular favorite saying?
